You can customize your profile information at anytime, and you will see those changes in the security footer on future emails. While the security footer doesn't guarantee an email's legitimacy, it provides an additional way to help differentiate between real and fake emails. Be cautious of "phishing" attacks that aim to steal sensitive data like passwords and credit card information.
